Team ELF had mixed success this past Weekend at the San Francisco Region Memorial Day Double regional at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows. All weekened long our Mysterian was steady, reliable and fast (even considering the tire situation faced over the weekend). In practice and qualifying over the course of the weekend car and drivers speeds rose, ultimately gaining almost 3 full seconds on previous best times. In a well fought race with Dan Chesnow of DCA Scooters and Team Elf Associate Norman Boles Driver Martin Cameron Finished a well earned 12 place. On Sunday in qualifying, however, a hard spin into the embankment at turn 3 ended chances of running the second race. The team packed up and headed for home to prepare for the next event, the Laguna Seca Double regional on June 28-30.

Preparations are pretty much complete for TEAM ELF's next event, the San Francisco region's Double Regional at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows California. The bins are stocked and packed, thanks to the diligence of Crew Chief Jeff Canfield, and the car is prepped. After the Teams advances at the Laguna Seca Regional last month, where Team Driver Martin Cameron dropped 7 seconds off his best time from last season, there is much anticipation for the coming event. Plans are for the Team to roll out of the shop on Friday May 24 morning with a day of pit setup and testing. The event runs May 24-27 with two full qualifying opertunities and two regional points races!.
